Steubenville Campus
All Eastern Gateway students, new and returning, are encouraged to work with an Academic Advisor throughout their time at EGCC. They are the student’s point of contact at the college, so no matter the issue, the Academic Advisor can either solve the problem or direct the student to the person who can.
One role of the Academic Advisor is to help students identify a major or program based on career and/or academic goals. If a student intends on transferring to a four-year college or university, the Academic Advisor should be notified so that they can help develop an appropriate academic plan. Academic Advisors can also teach students how to register for courses, make changes to a schedule, discuss academic progress, develop success skills or help a student apply for graduation.
Students are assigned an Academic Advisor by location and by last name. Below students can learn which Academic Advisor is assigned to helping them become successful. Academic advising is done by appointment, so please reach out to the appropriate Academic Advisor to schedule a time to discuss your goals.
